Protect your work with a varnish

For best results, apply 2 to 3 even coats of SamaN water-based or hybrid varnish, always following the direction of the wood grain. Between each coat, lightly sand with 220 grit sandpaper, then vacuum and wipe down with a clean, damp cloth to remove any dust or residue.
